Executive Leadership:

  • The governance of Cosmicore is overseen by a dedicated Executive Chairman & Global CEO, supported by a Board of Directors, each with significant expertise in mining, infrastructure, engineering, law, and business management. 
  • The Board ensures that Cosmicore adheres to its mission of empowering landowners, fostering sustainable development, and creating long-term value for local communities/

Cosmicore ensures compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in both Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Our legal team manages the company's legal affairs, including landowner agreements, joint ventures, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

  • Papua New Guinea Compliance: As an operator in PNG, we comply with the legal and regulatory framework set forth by key government agencies, such as the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA), Department of Petroleum and Energy (DPE), Department of Commerce and Industry (DCI), and the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
  • International Standards: In addition to local compliance, Cosmicore adheres to international best practices in corporate governance, including the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Global Compact principles, focusing on human rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption practices.

As part of our commitment to good governance, Cosmicore has a specialised Landowner Liaison & Community Engagement Team.

This team is dedicated to ensuring that customary landowners are involved at every stage of the development process.

  • Landowner Agreements: We work closely with landowners to ensure that all agreements are fair, transparent, and legally sound. These agreements are designed to protect the rights of landowners while ensuring that they benefit from the development of their resources
  • Conflict Resolution: We have a dedicated dispute resolution mechanism in place to address any conflicts that may arise during project implementation. This ensures that all parties are heard, and issues are resolved amicably and efficiently.
  • Profit Sharing & Equity Participation: In alignment with our commitment to landowner empowerment, we offer landowners equity participation in our projects.
